Harwich. There is a fundraiser going on for dedication of the Route 124 Overpass bridge and fireworks for United States Navy Lieutenant Ralph Wallace Burns on October 8, 2016. Lieutenant Burns was a Navy pilot killed in action during World War II. He was the father of Ralph (Skip) Burns. Skip was a fantastic teacher at Harwich High School and co-owner of S&L Tree Service in Harwich. A great guy too!
